The Handgun Roster is a list of handguns manufactured after January 1, 1985 that have received final approval for purchase in Maryland by the Handgun Roster Board and that are not otherwise prohibited by law.

MDSP is requesting that Security Guard Employers complete a brief online registration. A Security Guard Employer must be registered in order to lawfully employ a Security Guard. Please note that registration requires providing proof of commercial general liability insurance.
A Security Guard Employer is an entity (a person or company) that employs security guards only to provide security guard services to the entity itself; not to be confused with a Security Guard Agency which is a business that provides security guard services to a third party. “Security Guard Services” includes any activity that is performed for compensation for protecting any individual or property (with a few exceptions).
